Very significant was KosovanBashkimi 's (#3, 2-0) victory against their biggest opponent Albanian Flamurtari (2-2) 66-58 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Flamurtari. Bashkimi forced 24 Flamurtari turnovers. The winners were led by American guard Alexis Mead (163, college: WKU) who scored that evening 17 points and 6 assists and center Saranda Daci (190-1993) supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds by American forward Phoenix Gedeon (183, college: St.John's) did not help to save the game for Flamurtari . Her fellow American import guard Adia Brisker (173-2001, college: Queens, NC) added 14 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five Bashkimi and four Flamurtari players scored in double figures. Defending Kosovan champion (2-0) moved-up to second place. Defending Albanian champion Flamurtari dropped to the third position with two games lost.
